Q. THE SPORTSWEEPER™ MAY BE THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD BUT WHAT IS A FRICTION SWEEPER?

A. A friction sweeper is a Foreign Object Eliminator (FOE) for Foreign Object Debris (FOD). These sweepers are made to be pulled manually or by a vehicle with the purpose of collecting debris.

A. 100%. The Sportsweeper™ can work on different types of sporting venues and surfaces. Therefore, we called it the Sportsweeper™. The Sportsweeper™ was designed to be simple, easy to use and transferable between, synthetic turf fields, turf fields, tennis courts, tracks, parks and anywhere else you let your imagination take you.

Q. WE ARE GETTING SOMEWHERE NOW WITH THIS FAQ, SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

A. The Sportsweeper™, while being pulled in a forward motion over a sport or playing field, has nylon fibres underneath that will disturb debris on or just under the surface of what is being swept. Behind each row of nylon are scoops that collect the debris and keep it trapped until the Sportsweeper™ is ready to be emptied. It is one large (6 ft or 12 ft) receptacle to keep a safe and clean playing surface.

Q. I UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS NOW BUT HOW EASY IS IT TO USE THE SPORTSWEEPER™?

A. It`s easy like Sunday Morning. The Sportsweeper™ is lightweight (add weight) and designed to easily connect to a small garden tractor, gator, or larger vehicle. Once connected, the operator just needs to drive forward over the field or surface that needs sweeping.

Q. OWNERSHIP IS OVERRATED. CAN I RENT THE SPORTSWEEPER™?

A. Though possession in 9/10 of the law, in certain cases, a rental agreement can be worked out. We just ask that you truly evaluate your needs as renting and shipping costs can creep up quickly, but we can always look at a purchase option if you want to keep the rental.
